EXCLUSIVE: Sasha Pieterse Talks 'PLL' Spinoff, Says She'd 'Love' to Have Her 'DWTS' Partner on the New Series

While Sasha Pieterse focuses on learning and rehearsing new routines for this season of Dancing With the Stars, the young actress is already getting ready for aPretty Little Liars spinoff.

Pieterse spoke with ET’s Cameron Mathison after Monday’s new DWTS, and the 21-year-old star opened up about the highly anticipated series, Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists, which was announced on Monday, and how it feels to finally be able to talk about it.

“I’m doing a pilot in January,” Pieterse shared. “I’m so glad to announce it, actually I realized that I can announce it today, which I was kind of blindsided about.”

After seven seasons of playing Alison DiLaurentis on the Freeform teen mystery drama, Pieterse says that she can’t wait to get back into playing the character she’s grown so familiar with.

“I love that I get to play Allison still,” she said. “It’s a character that’s near to my heart for seven years and it’s a fun new world.”

Pieterse also gushed over the opportunity to once again work with Marlene King, who developed PLL and is an executive producer on the upcoming spin-off.

“Our producer is incredible, she’s just a genius,” she explained. “I can’t wait to be on this journey with her again.”

One burning question that remains now is whether or not Pieterse can find a role for her DWTS pro partner, Gleb Savchenko, with whom she’s been spending nearly every waking hour rehearsing for the show.

“I would love that,” she exclaimed.

“That would be awesome,” Savchenko chimed in. “We’ll talk about it.”

On Monday’s Dancing With the Stars, Pieterse and Savchenko scored a formidable 23 out of 30 for their Viennese waltz set to Rose Royce’s “I’m Going Down,” tying for second place on the leaderboard with Frankie Muniz and his partner, Witney Carson.

As for the hotly anticipated Perfectionists series — based on the young adult books written by PLL author Sara Shepard — Pieterse will be joining Janel Parrish, who is set to reprise her role as Mona.

EXCLUSIVE: Nikki Bella Opens Up About Showing Her 'Elegant Side' on 'DWTS': 'I Enjoyed It a Lot'

Pro wrestler Nikki Bella showed fans a different, more gentle aspect of her personality on Monday’s Dancing With the Stars, even though she found it a little awkward at first.

The WWE Diva spoke with ET’s Cameron Mathison after the show, and opened up on what it was like to show a softer side of herself during her waltz with pro partner Artem Chigvintsev.

“I enjoyed it a lot. It was very different and very uncomfortable to start out with, but then I realized like, I really like that elegant side and I’d like to use that elegant side even more,” Bella shared. “I mean, I didn’t really know I had it in me that much. But I had a good coach.”

Chigvintsev, who joined Bella for the post-show interview, said that he thinks she definitely has both sides to her personality, and Bella hesitantly agreed.

“I do think I have both sides, but I’m just so used to showing my fierce side that when I show this elegant side, I immediately feel like I’m dropping my guard,” she admitted. “I don’t like doing that, so then I’m like, ‘Just stay fierce!'”

Before taking the stage with her partner on Monday’s show, Bella opened up about her inner elegance in a pre-taped package, where she also reflected on the influence her beloved grandmother has had on her life.

“[The waltz] reminds me so much of my Nana,” Bella said. “If I didn’t have her as a big influence in my life, I would be an even bigger tomboy than I already am. My nana is elegant, classy and the most amazing woman that has ever walked this earth.”

Taking inspiration from her grandmother, Bella said she found the fortitude to step out of her comfort zone.

“I’m not just muscles and headlocks,” Bella said during the show. “I need to prove to people that there is an elegant woman in here. So, tonight is for my Nana.”

Bella explained to ET that she was “happy to showcase” her softer side, and the shimmering elegance of the dance allowed her to channel some of the biggest influences in her life, including her Nana and some classic Hollywood stars like “Marilyn Monroe and Vivianne Leigh.”

Bella said that her fiancé, WWE star John Cena, was also a big fan of her beautiful waltz from what he’s seen during rehearsals.

Bella will be returning to the DWTS stage on Tuesday. Tune in at 9 p.m. ET/PT on ABC to see how she handles her Latin Night performance, where she and Chigvintsev will be dancing a samba to “Despacito.”

'Kevin Can Wait' Moves Forward After Erinn Hayes' Surprising Departure in Season 2 Premiere

Kevin Can Wait has made its highly-anticipated return following Erinn Hayes’ surprising exit.

The CBS sitcom parted ways with their female lead, who played Kevin’s wife, Donna, at the end of season one, citing creative and personal reasons and announcing their decision to kill the character off.

On Monday’s season two premiere, Donna’s sudden absence was felt immediately, as Kevin (Kevin James) struggled to pack lunch for his youngest kids, while elder daughter Kendra (Taylor Spreitler) tried to help her dad out. But things turned somber when the mail delivered a reminder of the family’s late matriarch, in the form of a “We miss you” postcard from Donna’s gym.

“Give me that, I will call them right now,” Kendra insisted. “It’s been over a year since she died, they shouldn’t still be sending this.”

The premiere culminates with Kendra’s wedding, and before the ceremony, she and Kevin share an emotional moment, remembering Donna, admitting, “I wish she was here too.”

“She’d be so proud of you,” her father replies.

EXCLUSIVE: Kevin James and Leah Remini Talk ‘King of Queens’ Reunion on ‘Kevin Can Wait’

News of Hayes’ exit came in June, when the network shared that Leah Remini would be promoted to a series regular in season two, and that Hayes would exit as a result.

“The goal was to give Kevin’s character a real drive and a real predicament [involving] how a family comes back together [after tragedy],” executive producer and showrunner Rob Long told TVLine in August. “Also, out of respect for the character of Donna — and certainly the way that Erinn Hayes portrayed her — it seemed like the only right and fair way to treat her character.”

Long added that season two would focus on Kevin’s journey as a single father, saying that they never considered letting Donna live in order to leave the door open for her to return in the future.

Later in the season two premiere, Remini’s character — Kevin’s old partner on the force, Vanessa Cellucci — sat down with Kendra for an impromptu “bachelorette party” as she talked out her wedding nerves.

“Thank you for being here,” Kendra tells her emotionally.

Remini took to Instagram earlier this week to share how much she was enjoying being reunited with her Kings of Queens husband.

'Dancing With the Stars': Drew Scott, Vanessa Lachey & Frankie Muniz Power Through Injuries in Week 2

Dancing With the Stars kicked off its second week on Monday, and there was already a score of injured stars trying to push through the pain to deliver on the dance floor.

Property Brothers star Drew Scott was the first to dance, alongside partner Emma Slater, with a quickstep set to Louis Prima’s “Sing, Sing, Sing (With a Swing).” However, the day before the live show, Scott hurt himself during dress rehearsals.

As they practiced on stage, Scott was trying to work on some of the feedback judge Len Goodman had given during the premiere, and he ended up pulling his hamstring. However, the fast-paced routine ended up being the perfect dance for him.

After getting their mostly positive feedback from the judges, Scott and Slater joined co-host Erin Andrews backstage, and the HGTV star said he’s still feeling the pain, but it’s manageable.

“It’s a little sore, but if I’m not bending low [it’s okay],” Scott said. “This was the perfect dance for me, because I didn’t have to go deep into the squats. I felt really good and I just wanted to bring the energy.”

For their efforts, the pair earned a score of 20 out of 30, which is a marked improvement over their first performance, which earned them a 16.

Vanessa Lachey suffered one of the week’s most painful injuries during rehearsals when she managed to cut her toe and rip up her toenail with the heel of her boot.

Lachey showed off the gruesome injury in the pre-taped package before her performance, and she didn’t seem too excited to be stuffing her tender feet into tight dancing shoes.

However, the charismatic mother of three came out with partner Maks Chmerkovskiy and owned the dance floor in a dazzling golden gown as the pair performed a foxtrot set to Tami Tappan Damiano’s “Hit Me with a Hot Note.”

Following their successful routine, Lachey couldn’t keep her tears back and she laughed and cried with joy, exclaiming to co-host Tom Bergeron, “I didn’t fall! I didn’t fall!”

Despite the pain, and the intense rehearsals, Lachey told Andrews that she and Chmerkovskiy are “having fun.”

“It’s a lot, but we’re having fun!” she reiterated.

The talented couple earned a 24 out of 30 for their foxtrot, putting them near the top of the leaderboard for the second week in a row.

For Frankie Muniz, pain was expected. A few years ago, the Malcolm in the Middle star broke his back after crashing a race car, and the strain of dancing has been causing serious discomfort and pain.

However, like his fellow injured DWTS castmates, the 31-year-old actor didn’t let it keep him from delivering an incredible tango with partner Witney Carson, set to “Whatever It Takes” by Imagine Dragons. Decked out in a red tux, the talented star brought everything he had to the dance floor.

Speaking to Tom Bergeron after getting feedback from the judges, Muniz explained that he’s been “literally doing everything” possible to stay healthy enough to stay on the show.

“This is so much physical work that you wouldn’t expect, not being a dancer. It’s so hard but I love it, and I’m doing everything I can to be healthy,” he explained. “I did cryotherapy, physical therapy, I’m in the sauna, I’m icing, I’m doing yoga, I’m doing everything I can just to be here.”

For Muniz and Carson’s efforts, the pair earned a score of 23 out of 30, which is a five-point improvement over their score in last week’s premiere.

One reason the show might have seen so many injuries this early is because the stars were expected to learn two full dances in one week, as DWTS returns on Tuesday for their second show of the week. Tune in at 9 p.m. ET/PT on ABC to see how the stars handle their Latin Night performances.

'Dancing With the Stars' Eliminates First Contestant of Season 25 — Find Out Who Got Sent Home!

*Caution: Spoilers Ahead!*

Dancing With the Stars season 25 has axed its first contestant!

Following the season’s second night of competition, Shark Tank star and businesswoman Barbara Corcoran was sent home.

The elimination comes after Corcoran, 68, and her pro partner, Keo Motsepe, found themselves at the bottom of the score board for the second week in a row.

In the season premiere, Corcoran and Motsepe performed a salsa set to “Money Maker” by Ludacris, which earned them a score of 14 out of 30.

This week, the pair performed a tango set to “Whatever Lola Wants” as performed by Sarah Vaughn, and they actually improved, earning a 17. However, the votes had already been cast.

After they were cut, hosts Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews spoke with Corcoran, who opened up about how she felt now that her DWTS journey alongside Motsepe had come to an end.

“How am I gonna live without him?” wondered Corcoran, who spent much of her time on the show flirting with the handsome dancer.

“It’s such an honor,” she added of her time on the show. “It was probably the most exciting thing I’ve ever done in my whole life.”

Before the elimination, Bergeron and Andrews revealed which stars were in jeopardy. Joining Corcoran at the bottom were Terrell Owens and his partner, Cheryl Burke.

However, those two squeaked by and will be performing with the remaining stars on Tuesday, in the week’s second episode, where another couple will face elimination.

ET recently caught up with Corcoran during rehearsals and she revealed that the rigorous training for DWTS made her cry for the first time in years.

“I spent today three hours in practice and learned exactly three little steps and there’s roughly 80 steps in a dance and I have two dances to turn out Saturday. So, needless to say, I had a cry down,” Corcoran confessed. “I didn’t know I had enough juice in my body to cry. I haven’t cried in like, 25 years and I was sobbing all over Keo’s lap.”

Gal Gadot, Jake Gyllenhaal, Elisabeth Moss and More Read New 'Mean Tweets'

Jimmy Kimmel released another installment in his iconic “Mean Tweets” segment on Monday, once again proving that no matter how beautiful or handsome a celebrity objectively is, someone on the internet will insult their looks.

Wonder Woman star Gal Gadot kicked off the hilarious new installment — in which stars read unreasonably vicious tweets randos have posted about them  — with a particularly mean remark.

“Gal Gadot?????? Imma be wondering why they woman got no t**ties,” the tweet read, to which the 32-year-old Israeli beauty shot back, “They’re here, don’t worry.”

Jake Gyllenhaal’s mean tweet was even more aggressive, with one user commenting that he’s got “the most punchable face of all time.”

“I’d like nothing more than to sock him in his ugly, soft, starry-eyed pug face,” Gyllenhaal read, before looking into the camera with mock sadness.

As for recent Emmy winner Elisabeth Moss, her tweet seemed to start off sweet, but got to the snark eventually.

“Elisabeth Moss looks STUNNING,” the The Handmaid’s Tale star read with a smile. “I think she can clean up well, despite my grandmother’s harsh opinion that she’s hideous.”

The Good Place star Kristen Bell couldn’t help but agree with the Twitter user who wrote “Kristen Bell seems like the kinda person I’d be thrilled to be paired up with for a school project, but then would never wanna hang out with her otherwise.”

“That’s probably true,” Bell quipped.

The star-studded installment also features tweets read by Emma Watson, John Lithgow, Dave Chappelle, Jeffrey Tambor, Gwyneth Paltrow, Jennifer Aniston, Jim Parsons, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Jennifer Lawrence, Bob Odenkirk, Michael Keaton and Kumail Nanjiani.

Chip and Joanna Gaines Announce That 'Fixer Upper' Will End After Season 5

Joanna and Chip Gaines are going off the air for a while.

The couple announced on Tuesday that they have decided to make season five of their HGTV show, Fixer Upper, their last. The reality stars’ program premiered in 2013, and showed how they used their company, Magnolia Homes, to remodel well over 100 houses and counting, with Joanna as lead designer and Chip executing his wife’s vision by managing construction.

“This has been an amazing adventure! We have poured our blood, sweat and tears into this show,” reads a blog post on the Gaines’ website. “We would be foolish to think we can go and go and fire on all cylinders and never stop to pause.”

The two further insist that the decision to end the show has nothing to do with what has been reported about them in the tabloids. “Our family is healthy and our marriage has honestly never been stronger,” the message continues. “This has nothing to do with a fraudulent skincare line or anything else you’ll inevitably read. This is just us recognizing that we need to catch our breath for a moment.”

As for what’s next for the couple, “Our plan is to take this time to shore up and strengthen the spots that are weak, rest the places that are tired and give lots of love and attention to both our family and our businesses.”

While Chip and Joanna are saying goodbye to TV, they are still committed to home renovations in their Texas town.

“Though our Fixer Upper chapter is coming to a close, we aren’t done with Waco. We aren’t done renovating homes,” they write. “We aren’t done designing things to make your home your favorite place on earth. We aren’t done working towards restoration in all things or helping out those who could use a hand. In fact, in all of these of things, we are just getting started.”

The statement concludes, “Who knows what the future holds, but we’re excited for whatever is around the bend and in the meantime, we will definitely be staying in touch.”

Chip and Joanna have often talked about what the show meant to them, and in an exclusive interview with ET last year, they called Fixer Upper “a dream come true.”

Dave Chappelle, Sheryl Underwood and More Bring the Laughs on ‘Def Comedy Jam 25’ Anniversary Special

“All comedy roads today, lead to Def Comedy Jam.”

Dave Chappelle, Steve Harvey, Martin Lawrence, D.L. Hughley and more of comedy’s heavy hitters reunited for a special night of laughs for Def Comedy Jam 25, a new special which began streaming on Netflix on Tuesday.

The comedy celebration was filmed at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California, on Sept. 9, and pays tribute to the comedians behind a show “responsible for more stolen cable than any other television,” as Chappelle joked.

Chappelle, Harvey, Sheryl Underwood and Cedric the Entertainer kick off the 80-minute special playing as a comedy collision of self-deprecation and social topics like racism and police brutality, a sprinkle of politics (President Donald Trump comes up more than once) and tons of laughs, with appearances from Tracy Morgan, Katt Williams, Craig Robinson, Bill Bellamy, Mike Epps, Tiffany Haddish and many more.

EXCLUSIVE: Sheryl Underwood Reflects on Humble Beginnings as a Comedian: ‘We Didn’t Have a Lot of Food’

Russell Simmons and Stan Lathan premiered Def Comedy Jam in 1992, and over the course of five years, the show became a platform for the “hottest stand-up comedy shows in history.”

The “Ladies of Def Comedy Jam” earn a special segment with Haddish moderating as Underwood, Melody Camacho and Adele Givens explain how the show helped break barriers for women in comedy.

The special also features a hilarious blooper moment that quickly morphs into an impromptu tag team stand-up routine between Chappelle and Hughley that is arguably the night’s funniest moment.

But the most emotional moments come when Tracy Morgan makes his way to the stage to honor Lawrence, and the In Memoriam montage featuring a special tribute to Bernie Mac.

The Chicago comedian, who died in 2008, is honored by his fellow “Kings of Comedy,” Cedric, Harvey and Hughley.

“Bernie was our king,” Harvey tells the audience. “Bernie Mac was our favorite. Bernie Mac meant something to us. He was the one of us that we all sat around the monitors to watch.”

“We all were stand ups, but we were in love with Mac because Mac didn’t just want to make you laugh, he tried to throw you into something and then make you laugh at s**t you had no business laughing at,” Harvey adds. “He was vicious on that stage, he was the greatest of all the kings here.”

At the end of the show, the comedians come together for a group photo, where Chappelle speaks to Def Comedy Jam’s impact on the genre.

“It changed comedy forever, it opened doors. People talk s**t about it, then they look like damn fools years later. Now you look around this room, and you see how ignorant it was to be a hater. All comedy roads today, lead back to Def Comedy Jam,” Chappelle says. “And I know that I can speak for everyone on this stage when I say I couldn’t be prouder to have been a part of something so groundbreaking.”

And the celebs aren’t just on the stage. The star-studded audience includes Jesse Williams, Sean “Diddy” Combs, Meagan Good, Michael Ealy, Nia Long and video appearances from Chris Rock, Kevin Hart and Trevor Noah.

EXCLUSIVE: Lindsey Stirling on How She Emerged From ‘Terrifying’ Cocoon of Depression and Anorexia

Feeling stuck in a “cocoon” of terrifying depression and anorexia, Lindsey Stirling wondered if she would ever experience feelings of happiness again.

But after quickstepping around the Dancing With the Stars ballroom in a stunning monarch butterfly-inspired outfit with dance pro Mark Ballas on Monday, the YouTube star opened up to ET about how she was able to emerge from her dark struggles.

“I feel like I had to go through my own cocoon process,” she told ET’s Cameron Mathison, explaining how she related to the transformative theme of her performance, in which she and Ballas started out as caterpillars then emerged from a giant cocoon as butterflies. “I think everybody does, and for me personally, it was that I struggled with anorexia and depression for years and at certain times I thought, ‘It’s too hard to get out of this.’”

“I was stuck in a caterpillar phase, but I had to go through that transformative hard work,” Stirling continued. “It was like a full-time job to get over anorexia, for two years. And I came out the other side and honestly feel like everybody can be and feel beautiful. That’s the most important thing — how you feel about yourself.”

While the gorgeous 31-year-old emphasized that she worked hard to make it through her personal struggles, she admitted that she also experienced many moments of “helplessness.”

Having learned all too well what it feels like to hit rock bottom, Stirling hopes that by sharing her story she can help others going through tough times.

“When I was going through the midst of it, you wonder, ‘Will I ever really, truly be happy? Will I ever been able to get over this?’” she shared. “And that’s what I want to show. I’m so vocal about this issue because I made it through and I came out the other side [but] I know how it feels to be in the middle of it and the terrifying nature of it — and the hopelessness. I wanted with this dance, I wanted to give people hope that they can thrive.”
